(St. Paul, MN)–The San Jose Sharks slipped past the Minnesota Wild in overtime 2-1 at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul on Tuesday night.
For Minnesota, Matt Boldy scored his ninth goal of the season on the power play early in the second period as the Wild outshot the Sharks 23-10 through two periods. But Will Smith found the equalizer midway through the third period with his seventh goal of the season. Collin Graf scored on the only shot in overtime to grab the win and the extra point.
Filip Gustavsson took the loss with 16 saves. The Wild are home for a pair of games this weekend as they’ll host the Ducks on Saturday and the Golden Knights on Sunday. Both games are at 5 p.m.
