Team chemistry is one of the most important factors in team sports. Coaches are responsible for utilizing their star players to get the maximum production out of them. It’s a juggling act to make your star players are happy, and that every player on the team is on the same page, understands his role, and accepts that role. That is sometimes easier said than done.
The Eagles, with all that offensive firepower are having a hard time getting Wide Receiver AJ Brown the ball this season. Brown is on pace to have the fewest receiving yards in a season during his 7-year NFL career.
The Flyers have one of their star players Matvei Michkov under underperforming in recent weeks. Michkov has not seen the amount of ice time that he’s accustomed to. According to the Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet Michkov came into the season not in the best shape, and there have been speculations about whether the reasons for why have not been substantiated.
The Sixers MVP Joel Embiid, unexpectedly started the season ahead of schedule, recovering from numerous injuries, is now back on the shelf because he is dealing with soreness in the opposite knee that he had surgery on recently.
All these examples can affect the chemistry of the team. How certain players handle their circumstances can affect the chemistry of the team. Let’s hope our coaches in their respective sports can manage to to can our star players optimize their talents.
