Former Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios’ Malibu home is trending with media outlet TMZ for $60 million reasons.
We’re not certain we’ll ever win the lottery, but if we did, maybe we’d consider buying Chris Chelios’ property.
For the veteran NHL defenseman, the beachfront property is a luxurious 3,795 square foot home in Paradise Grove, California.
The official listing price is $59,999,950. And it’s a bargain at that price. The home was originally listed at $67.5 million. It’s been on the market since 2023.
The Luxurious Amenities Afforded to Chris Chelios’ Buyers
The oceanfront property has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a massive kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, and a rooftop deck.
The original construction of the mansion was in 1982, and it comes with massive windows that let natural light set the atmosphere.
His neighbors? Former Avalanche nemesis, and NHL agent Claude Lemieux, and actress Shirley MacLaine.
The three-time Norris Trophy-winning defenseman would call it a career at the age of 48 in 2009-10 with the Atlanta Thrashers.
Chelios won his first Stanley Cup in 1986 with the Montreal Canadiens, beginning his legendary career in the NHL.
