Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Kirill Kaprizov delivered in the clutch once again, scoring with just ten seconds remaining in overtime to give the Minnesota Wild a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights at Grand Casino Arena on Sunday.

The dramatic winner extended Minnesota’s point streak to five games.

With time running out in the extra frame, Kaprizov found himself with the puck and made no mistake, beating the Vegas netminder to send the home crowd into a frenzy. The Russian superstar continues to be the driving force behind Minnesota’s recent success.

Joel Eriksson Ek and Yakov Trenin also found the back of the net for the Wild, who battled back and forth with the Golden Knights throughout the contest before Kaprizov’s late-game magic sealed the two points.

The victory moves Minnesota into a tie for third place in the Central Division with 22 points.

The Wild will look to extend their point streak to six games when they return to home ice on Wednesday to face the Carolina Hurricanes. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
