*Oh wow everyone, we had a huge bit of a news drop yesterday! Danny Briere is out here making moves in November, reshaping this team’s roster by pulling off a blockbuster trade that came out of nowhere. [BSH]

*Back-to-back games are annoying for a number of reasons but chief among them is the fact that the Flyers absolutely stink in the second game. [NBC Sports Philly]

*It would appear that goalie prospect Aleksei Kolosov is finding his groove up in Allentown with the Phantoms. Almost as if getting some time in the AHL will be good for his development. [BSH]

*Obviously we all want Matvei Michkov on the ice like, 23 minutes a night, in all situations, running all over the ice doing Matvei Michkov things. That, however, is not realistic.
