The Florida Panthers get another day off to bask in the goal-scoring glory of Monday night’s wild 8-5 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. Florida has posted a 2-1 record on its current five-game homestand and will face the New Jersey Devils tomorrow night at Amerant Bank Arena. The Devils were soundly beaten 5-1 by the Tampa Bay Lightning at Benchmark International Arena last night.

With Cole Schwindt joining the seemingly unending list of injured Cats, the Panthers have recalled Jack Devine from the Charlotte Checkers. Devine leads the team in scoring with 12 points and is tied with Wilmer Skoog for tops in goals with six.

Stepan Zvyagin ended a four-game scoring slump with an assist on the game-opening goal in HC Dinamo-Molodechno’s 4-2 win over HK Vitebsk in action from the BETERA Extraleague in Belarus. Zvyagin leads his squad in scoring with 23 points (6G/17A) in 26 games.

Goaltending prospect Yegor Midlak got the start as his club MHK Spartak MAC rallied to defeat Dinamo Karelia 5-4 in junior action from Russia’s MHL. Midlak’s won-loss record remained the same and his GAA rose, so it looks like he was pulled in this one.
