Utah hockey fans officially have a new team name to support!

Following the Utah Hockey Club‘s inaugural season in the NHL, the team now has a distinct identity: Utah Mammoth.

Multiple rounds of fan voting took place before a Mammoth became the team’s name on May 7. The logo features distinct shades of light blue, black and grey along with a Mammoth that represents Utah’s rich history of paleontology.

Mammoth’s once roamed the state of Utah during the Ice Age. As if the logo wasn’t cool enough, merchandise for the team has dropped.

While jerseys aren’t available yet, there’s plenty of other options for fans to cheer on the Mammoth.
