We have got a classic uniform match up on Sunday and it has been almost thirty years since we have seen it.

The Dallas Cowboys traditional white uniform is worn at home and for the majority of their road games as well. With the Cowboys wearing white at home, this allows the other team to typically wear their ‘home’ jersey on the road. Well this Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles will wear a jersey that has not been seen in Texas since the 90’s Cowboys dynasty.

Dallas Cowboys fans have fond memories of the last time they saw the Eagles in this jersey match up. That would be in the divisional round of the playoffs before the Dallas Cowboys would win their fifth Super Bowl. The Cowboys first test in the playoffs would be against their division rival in the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys would win on that day 30-11.

Back in 2023, the Philadelphia Eagles decided to bring back the Kelly Green uniform for the first time since the late 90’s. The team is a perfect 4-0 in the Kelly Green games, however all of those games took place in Philadelphia. This will be the first test of the uniform on the road since bringing them back.

For fans wishing for a throwback vs throwback game against Philadelphia, that will not be happening. However the Dallas Cowboys throwbacks will be worn next week on Thanksgiving against the Kansas City Chiefs.
