A 40-year-old former Vancouver Canuck has signed a new contract overseas to continue his professional career just months after dominating the Australian league.
The 2025-26 campaign is well underway in North America and Europe, with teams beginning to get a better picture on where they could end up towards the end of their respective regular seasons.
After an an impressive season Down Under, registering 64 points (34 goals, 30 assists) in 14 games and winning an AIHL championship, Booth has found his next landing spot for the 2025-26 season.

Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club are delighted to announce the signing of experienced NHL forward David Booth.” the club said on social media.
Fife Flyers General Manager Max Birbraer spoke about the signing of David Booth today, expressing excitement about adding more NHL experience to his group after bringing in former Pittsburgh Penguins & Anaheim Ducks Simon Despres earlier this fall.
“We are happy to get David’s deal over the line. What seemed like a crazy idea not long ago has now become reality.
“Arguably, one of the biggest pedigree player to join the club, David’s resume speaks for itself self but what impressed us the most is that he is regarded as an extreme professional who takes pride in his on and off the ice performance and all-in attitude.
We cannot wait for David to join our line up as soon as possible.” Birbraer said.
The club revealed that Booth will wear his usual number 40 and while there’s no set date for his Fife Flyers debut, it could come as early as Saturday when they host their long-time rivals, the Glasgow Clan.
