After a flat showing in Monday’s loss, the Bruins delivered a much more inspired effort on Wednesday in Anaheim.
But the result turned out the same as the Bruins fell to the Ducks, 4-3.
The Bruins (12-10-0) will stay in Southern California to face the Kings on Friday.
Boston fell behind, 1-0 right away, and were down 2-0 seven minutes into the game.
But led by two goals by Morgan Geekie and 29 saves by Joonas Korpisalo, the Bruins fought back to even in the third period.
But Ian Moore’s goal with 3:35 left pushed Anaheim to its second win over the Bruins this season. Boston has now lost two in a row.
