ELMONT, N.Y. — The Seattle Kraken wrap up a four-game road trip Sunday afternoon, November 23, on the road against the New York Islanders.

The puck will drop at 2 p.m. on November 23 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

The game will be broadcast on KSKN 22 The Spot with pregame coverage starting at 1:30 p.m. The game will be shown in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region over the air on KSKN 22 The Spot!


What to know about the Kraken vs. the Islanders

The Kraken are currently third in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. The Kraken have won three of their last four games, with their most recent game ending with a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in Chicago.

The team is led by Jaden Schwartz, who is leading the team with 15 points so far. Jordan Eberle and Matty Beniers trail Schwartz in points, totaling 14 points and 13 points, respectively, so far this season. Chandler Stephenson and Vince Dunn also have 12 points apiece.

The Kraken will play the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday night before Sunday’s game against the Islanders.

As for the Kraken’s opponent Sunday afternoon, the Islanders are currently third in the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference. Bo Horvat leads the way with 25 points, followed by Mathew Barzal and Kyle Palmieri with 16 points apiece.

The Islanders also have Matthew Schaefer, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. He has 15 points so far in his first season.

Sunday afternoon’s game marks the end of a four-game road trip for the Kraken. After Sunday’s game against the Islanders, the Kraken will wrap up November with two home games against the Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers on November 26 and November 29, respectively.

The Seattle Kraken are coming to Spokane!

There’s going to be a watch party at Flatstick Pub in downtown Spokane (618 W. Main Ave.) for Sunday’s game. 

Festivities at Flatstick Pub begin at noon, and if you go to the watch party, you may see yourself on TV, as the Spokane watch party will be featured on the Kraken Hockey Network game broadcast.

Sunday’s watch party is free to attend.
