Norwich University women’s hockey continued its dominance of Little East Conference play. The Cadets controlled their latest game against the Southern Maine University Huskies from start to finish, picking up the 5-0 shutout victory for a 4-0 LEC record. Jordan Brady scored twice for Norwich, with a goal in the first period and another in the second period. Livia Brooks and Alexi Leslie tacked on another pair of goals before Natalie Heutmaker scored the game’s final goal in the third period. Brooks also added two assists to her stat line, while Leslie had one assist. Payton Sutherland picked up the shutout victory in her second start in net this season. She secured nine saves in the win.
