If last Friday’s game between the Flyers and St. Louis Blues was an appetizer of what’s to come on Thursday night, then fasten your seatbelts. The two teams had struggled to score, but broke out for a combined 10 goals in regulation. It included a pair of two-goal comebacks for the Flyers, who won the game in a shootout.
Now, the two teams head to Philadelphia to close out the season series.
Game time is at 7 p.m.
Christian Dvorak had quite the weekend as he builds on a solid start to the season. After scoring two goals and adding an assist in St. Louis on Friday, he scored the lone goal in Saturday’s loss in Dallas, bringing him to six goals and 13 points on the season.
Robert Thomas now leads the way for the Blues with 13 points on the season. He has four points on a three-game points streak and five points in his last five games.
Dan Vladar gets the start for the Flyers. Vladar allowed five goals on 28 shots in a loss to Dallas on Saturday.
