Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz reacted to the antics from Ottawa Senators forward Nick Cousins during warmups ahead of Game 3 on Thursday night. The Senators and Cousins were each fined for the incident, which Cousins noted was meant to be a playful attempt at getting his former teammate off his game and that it happens more than people think, as many across the hockey world also pointed out on social media.

“I mean, I didn’t even notice, to be honest,” Stolarz responded.

The 31-year-old and the Maple Leafs, along with the Senators, did not seem overly concerned with the incident, and it certainly didn’t get to Stolarz.

Unfortunately, Stolarz had his worst game of the series on Saturday night, allowing 3 fairly soft goals in a 4-3 OT loss, and now must refocus for Game 5 on Tuesday night as the Leafs get a another attempt to get out of the first round for just the second time in the Auston Matthews era.
