We open up NHL predictions with the Minnesota Wild visiting the Winnipeg Jets. Minnesota is expected to give the start to Jesper Wallstedt in goal. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Wild are coming into this game with an 8-1-1 mark in the last 10 games, including wins in six of the last seven games. Kirill Kaprizov is first in assists (14) and points (26) for Minnesota.
Eric Comrie is the projected starter for the Jets, who are 5-5 in the last 10 games. The defending Presidents’ Trophy winners have been struggling to find consistency so far this campaign. Winnipeg is a top 10 team in several categories, but has yet to put together a long stretch like they did last season. Mark Scheifele is leading in assists (17) and points (28) for the Jets.
Note the early start time for fantasy purposes. The Wild are coming in hot and should get the win.
Prediction: Wild win 4-2.
