Wild Win in Winnipeg

The Minnesota Wild are having a great November.

(Winnipeg, Manitoba) — Minnesota goaltender Jesper Wallsted made 32 saves as he and the Wild blanked the Jets 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in Winnipeg. Danilla Yurov, Brock Faber and Kirill Karprizov supplied the goals as the Wild stopped a nine game losing streak to the Jets and beat them for the first time since March 8, 2023. The Wild now have an N-H-L leading five shutout victories under their belt with three of them going to Wallstedt. The rookie goaltender has recorded the three shutouts in his last four starts and leads the N-H-L with a 1.94 goals against average and a .935 save percentage. As a team, the Wild have won five straight and are 9-1-1 in the month of November. They’ll finish the three game trip on Wednesday against the Blackhawks at the United Center with a 7:30 P-M puck drop.
