There’s only one game on the slate in Tuesday’s NHL predictions with a rematch of the previous two Western Conference Finals. The Dallas Stars got a 4-3 shootout win over the Edmonton Oilers at the American Airlines Center on November 4. Mikko Rantanen posted two goals and an assist for the Stars in the victory. However, the Finn won’t be in the lineup because he will be suspended for this game.

Rantanen is receiving the suspension due to getting two game misconduct penalties before playing 41 consecutive regular-season games without such a penalty. Dallas will have to find a way to cope without the talented right wing.

Edmonton is hoping that a victory over the defending champion Florida Panthers can finally kickstart its season. However, a game against the Stars after a long road swing won’t be an easy proposition.

Let’s take a look at this one game in Tuesday’s NHL predictions. We’ll delve into the statistics and storylines heading into this important matchup.
