Not too promising lately for the Preds, whose recent games have fallen into one of two patterns…with the same result. One, outplay and outshoot the opposition, but give up enough odd-man rushes to fall behind 1-0, which feels more like 4-0 with their inability to score, and the scoreline expands the wrong way. Two, just plain listless, dull, uninspired hockey. The result is one win in eight, and just 15 regulation goals scored in that span. How long can GM Barry Trotz stick with HC Andrew Brunette?
