The Blackhawks practiced at Fifth Third Arena on Monday morning, and they will do so again on Tuesday. In the midst of a three-game losing streak, head coach Jeff Blashill wants to make sure his group is prepared for another Central Division matchup against the Minnesota Wild at the United Center on Thanksgiving Eve.
During Monday’s practice session, Andre Burakovsky was spotted skating on the west rink at Fifth Third Arena, working with skills coach Brian Keane. Goaltender Laurent Brossoit also skated ahead of the session and participated in one drill in the latter stages. Blashill spoke about both players after practice. Connor Bedard picked up his 100th career NHL assist in the Blackhawks’ 9-3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Friday. In celebration of the milestone, 100 apples were placed in front of Bedard’s locker at Fifth Third Arena for him to see after practice wrapped up.
