Nikita Kucherov posted three points for the Lightning Saturday night, scoring one goal and picking up two assists in a 5-3 win over the Capitals.

Kucherov continues an impactful stretch in the offensive zone, tallying points in seven of his last nine games (six goals, six assists) for the Lightning. The veteran winger continues to offer head coach Jon Cooper an explosive offensive option as part of a talented Tampa Bay lineup, carrying a 1.16 point per game average (10 goals, 12 assists) in 19 games so far this season.
