The Detroit Red Wings organization announced that they will give away gifts to 7,500 fans during Wednesday’s game, just in time for the holiday season.
The Red Wings franchise is celebrating its Centennial season in the NHL this year, and they decided to do it big.
Indeed, they planned a special holiday gift for fans who will attend the game at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday night.
Red Wings Organization To Give 7,500 Gifts To Fans Wednesday In Game Vs. Nashville Predators
Although the biggest gift they could give fans would be a win tomorrow night against the Predators, the organization announced that they will also offer something to the first 7,500 fans who arrive at Little Caesars Arena.
They revealed in a post on social media that they will give a Red Wings Zamboni gravy boat.
Tomorrow’s game against the Predators could end up being another trap for the Wings. Nashville is last in the NHL with only 16 points and six wins after 22 games. Taking them lightly would be a mistake for the Red Wings, especially when all games matter due to this season’s extreme parity in the Eastern Conference.
The Wings are currently 2nd in the Atlantic Division, only a point behind the Tampa Bay Lightning, who bounced back beautifully from a poor start to the season.
The two teams will face off Friday, making the upcoming games very interesting to follow for both teams as they could end up battling on the ice for the first spot in the division in a few days.
