Jamie Benn is a member of the 400-goal club.

The Dallas Stars forward scored his first goal of the season Tuesday night in the opening period against the Edmonton Oilers to reach the milestone.

Benn’s goal was the first of the game and came off a cross-crease pass from Wyatt Johnston that Benn batted past Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner and into the open net.

He is the second player in Stars history to reach the plateau, joining Mike Modano, who holds the franchise lead at 557. Benn also sits second in points behind Modano (1,359) with 958.

Benn was playing in just his fourth game of 2025-26 due to an upper-body injury that caused him to miss the team’s first 19 games of the season.

Benn had one assist in three games entering play Tuesday night.

The 36-year-old has played his entire 17-year NHL career with the Stars since debuting with the team during the 2009-10 season. He was selected in the fifth round (No. 129 overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft.
