While Quinn Hughes is off the table for now, there’s no question that once the calendar flips to 2026 and we inch closer to the trade deadline, the Canucks might have no choice but to listen to offers on him, especially if they feel they don’t have a good chance at extending their captain long-term next summer, with more teams than just the New Jersey Devils likely to be in the mix.
