Werenski and Olivier both suffered upper-body injuries in Monday’s game against the Washington Capitals.

Werenski played through the first two periods, playing 17:36 but did not come out for the third and was later ruled out. He missed yesterday’s practice but skated this morning.

Olivier played just 4:49 before exiting the game with injury and also did not skate on Tuesday.

Marchenko missed Monday’s game after getting hurt during the team’s morning skate that same day and will miss his second straight game.

Pinelli is skating in his first professional season. With the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters this season, he has five goals and 10 points in 13 games.

Smith signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Blue Jackets on Monday and joined the team yesterday. He started the season in the AHL with Cleveland, recording one assist in 11 games.

Greaves has appeared in 14 games for Columbus, going 7-4-3 with a .904 save percentage and 2.80 GAA.
