Already enjoying a surprising hot start to the season, an extra jolt of energy will return to the Ottawa Senators lineup in the coming days. Brady Tkachuk will be back in action on Friday.
The 26-year-old left winger revealed his plans during a recent episode of his “Wingmen with Matthew and Brady Tkachuk” podcast that he co-hosts with his brother, two-time Stanley Cup champion Matthew.
With speculation swirling about when he would be back on the ice —Brady hasn’t played since Oct. 13 against Nashville — Matthew asked his brother if St. Louis, the place they grew up watching their father, Keith, enjoy the best years of his playing career, would be where he rejoins his team.
“It’s only fitting. Thanksgiving, just excited to be in St. Louis. Have all the boys, the trainers to mom and dads. The contact jersey is coming off. So I’m ready to take some bumps,” responded Brady, who then added a “daddy’s back” with a smile to add more hype to his return.
