Edmonton Oilers forward appeared ro hurt himself during Thursday’s skate and left the ice visbily frustrated, TSN’s Ryan Rishaug reported.
The 29-year-old has not played since Oct. 19 due to an undisclosed injury and had recently re-joined practice.

Kapanen has two assists in six appearances this season after scoring five goals and 13 points in 57 games with the Oilers last year.
The Oilers (10-10-5) are sixth in the Pacific Division and have lost four of their past five games.
