Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
The Winnipeg Jets are looking to get back into the win column after suffering three straight losses. The Jets most recently lost to the Washington Capitals 4-3 to kickoff their five game road trip. Winnipeg doesn’t have a morning skate today, but Dylan Samberg’s usual routine of firing pucks at the starting goaltender has stirred the pot as he was shooting at Thomas Milic and not Eric Comrie. There is a chance that Thomas Milic gets the start tonight against Carolina and Comrie suits up against Nashville tomorrow.
Carolina Hurricanes News & Notes:
The Carolina Hurricanes are continuing a season-long seven-game home stand in a rematch from their game in Winnipeg not too long ago. Carolina looks to take the season series with a win over the Jets tonight and rebound off of a 4-2 loss to the New York Rangers on Wednesday night.

Players To Watch:
Winnipeg Jets
Morgan Barron has been quiet since his big outburst before his injury, and the Jets need secondary scoring from anywhere if they want to win this game.
Josh Morrissey is going to be fueled to be a leader in the Jets’ pursuit to snap their losing skid. A big performance by him is something the Jets need, especially from a secondary scoring perspective.
Carolina Hurricanes
Andrei Svechnikov will be fueled by having his name floated in trade possibilities. He could go and post a big game, or just quietly contribute to Carolina’s game.
K’Andre Miller stands out as a good defensive player who can score for the Hurricanes. Secondary is no issue in Carolina, and Miller proves that night in and night out.
