The Anaheim Ducks will be without their starting goalie for a little bit longer than they initially thought.

Lukáš Dostál has suffered an upper-body injury and will be out two to three weeks, the team announced on Friday.

Dostál’s injury was initially ruled day-to-day when the team first announced it on Wednesday, but it looks like he is going to need more time to recover.

The Czechia-native last played in the teams 4-3 overtime win against the Vegas Golden Knights last Saturday.

Dostál has exceeded expectations for the Ducks this season, which currently sit first place in the Pacific division with 29 points. The 25-year-old holds a record of 11-5-1 through 17 games.

With Dostál hurt, Petr Mrazek is expected to take over the starting position until he returns. Goalie Ville Husso was recalled from the San Diego Gulls of the AHL on Wednesday and is set to start at home against the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.
