Kyle Connor is a Nashville Predators killer. He has 10 points over the last nine head-to-head meetings and has cleared his shot total in each of them.
While Connor has gone a little quiet of late, my Jets vs. Predators predictions expect his shooting prowess to be on full display Saturday night.
Let’s get into my NHL picks for Saturday, November 29.

Jets vs Predators Best bet: Kyle Connor over 2.5 shots (-135)
To say Kyle Connor is the Winnipeg Jets’ go-to shooter would be an understatement. The veteran sniper leads the Jets in shot attempts by 31 and has recorded 25 more shots on target than anybody on the roster.
Connor is pacing the team in both those categories despite generating two shots or fewer in four straight games, tying his longest drought over the past two seasons.
Connor’s dry spell coincided with a difficult scheduling stretch in which he faced Carolina (x2), Washington, and Minnesota – all of whom rank Top-8 in points.
The Nashville Predators are a massive step down in class, sitting dead last with just eight wins and 20 points through 24 games.
Connor has a remarkable track record against the Central Division foe, recording 3+ shots in nine straight head-to-head meetings. He had 4+ shots in six of those games, often clearing this line with room to spare.
The shots should continue to flow this time around as the Predators have given up the most goals, and 6th most shots, to left wingers this season.

Jets vs Predators same-game parlay
Mark Scheifele has flirted with 50 assists in back-to-back seasons and is currently one back of the team lead. He rides shotgun with Connor at 5-on-5 as well as on the power play. If Connor is going to pepper the Predators with shots, a good chunk should come off setups from Scheifele.
Led by their stars, the Jets should be able to get back on track against the last-place team in the NHL.
