Philly Hockey Now: The Philadelphia Flyers just wrapped up a four-game road trip on Saturday, going 3-1-0 on the road. Capping off the road trip with a bout against the New Jersey Devils, handing them their first home regulation loss of the season. It was one of the Flyers’ best games of the season.

Speaking of the game, one reason for the success was the play of Dan Vladar. With the Olympics coming soon, Vladar has not been a name talked about, but with the current Czech goalies and Vladar’s recent play, he absolutely deserves to be talked about.

NY Post: Absolute nails. Kyle Palmieri showed his toughness on Friday, tearing his ACL in the game vs. the Flyers. He stuck with the play, forced a turnover, and earned an assist on Emil Heineman’s goal in the second period. It started the Islanders’ comeback. Palmieri’s ACL tear is now confirmed, with the forward expected to be out for 6 to 8 months. Palmieri is tough as nails.
