DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – The University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey team is picking up a local talent, signing Cloquet/Esko/Carlton senior blueliner Karson Young as a commit.
The senior also appeared for the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Minnesota Wilderness.

Young scored 9 goals and 29 assists for 38 points in his senior season and helped guide the Lumberjacks to a 20-8 record and a trip to the Section 7A Finals.

For the Wilderness, Young played in 26 games, where he scored three goals and had six assists.
