(Edmonton, Alberta/Minnesota News Network) — Minnesota goaltender Jesper Wallstedt made 32 saves as the Wild blanked the Oilers 1-0 on Tuesday night in Edmonton. Jonas Brodin scored the only goal at 13:11 of the first period and Wallstedt made it stand as the eventual game winner. Wallstedt has won seven straight games and has four shutouts in his last six starts. The win gives Minnesota points in 12 straight games going 10-0-2 in the process and now have the third most points in the N-H-L with 35 thanks to a 15-7-5 record. They’ve also won five straight on the road. Stuart Skinner suffered the loss for the Oilers on 23 saves. The road trip continues tomorrow in Calgary with another 8 P-M start.
