The Winnipeg Jets are not quite done yet.

The Dallas Stars had pushed the Presidents’ Trophy winners to the brink of elimination, but Winnipeg found a way to stay alive in Game 5 at home.

Buoyed by the stellar play of likely Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck, the Jets shut out Dallas and forced Game 6 Saturday at American Airlines Center.

While Dallas never put a goal on the board, team captain Jamie Benn certainly got a good shot in late in the third period, landing a hard left hand on the Jets’ Mark Scheifele that brought his night to a premature night and generated plenty of chatter.

Here is some of the social media reaction to Game 5 between the Stars and Jets:

Jamie Benn is a respected captain, great leader in that room, etc etc. But it’s remarkable, for how seasoned of a vet he is, that he’s had so many failures with composure in the last few years during deep playoff runs.
