A National Hockey League insider has shared which non-pending unrestricted free agents Patrik Allvin and the Vancouver Canucks are listening to offers on.
“Forwards Conor Garland, Teddy Blueger, Drew O’Connor, Lukas Reichel and Evander Kane, and defenceman Derek Forbort are other players the Canucks are listening on. Blueger and Forbort are currently injured.” David Pagnotta said.
O’Connor, a native of Chatham, New Jersey, has one year left on his contract beyond the 2025-26 season with a cap hit of $2.5 million USD, which Patrik Allvin would love to get off the books, if there are any takers.
If Drew O’Connor is able to elevate his game in the weeks and months ahead, then perhaps we could see him on the move prior to March 6th, but if not, it’s safe to say he’ll more than likely remain in Vancouver beyond the deadline.
