“First of all, you have to give them (the Bruins) credit for their penalty kill. We had some opportunities, Ras (Michael Rasmussen) was alone net-front, Copper (Andrew Copp had an opportunity in close), they seemed to get a stick on it or a deflection or tip away from the net. They did a good job of slowing us down enough to get into shooting lanes and taking away the Grade A (chances).
When that happens (taking away prime scoring chances) you have to rely on a Grade B type of game, where it’s a deflection or tip-in or rebound. I’m not sure we wanted to go there (Saturday).”
