Tyler Bertuzzi has recorded 16 points over his past 11 games, which is the product of multiple variables.
First, he receives Top 6 minutes among the Chicago Blackhawks forward group, and often skates alongside strong playmaking forwards like Frank Nazar and Connor Bedard.
Second, and more importantly, Bertuzzi plays a net-front role on the first power play unit. It is in this role that he has created the most damage, both through his ability to tip pucks and pounce on rebounds.
Of those 16 points, half have come on the man advantage. Bertuzzi’s success in this role makes him a good candidate to back against the Los Angeles Kings.
