Not today, Satan.
Good morning, Stars fans! It’s a mixed bag this morning, as we’re riding high on a franchise record 12-game road points streak after last night’s shellacking of New Jersey – while on the other hand going through the injury-pocalypse that has engulfed the team.
The big news yesterday was obviously the Tyler Seguin ACL bombshell that will likely keep him out for months, if not the season. Just a brutal blow for Tyler, after his tough rehab last year on the bum hip. Get well soon, Seggy.
So yeah, let’s get it out of the way.
The NHL’s LTIR/salary cap rules are different this year, so here’s a breakdown of the options the Stars now have after news of Tyler Seguin’s long-term ACL injury ⤵️ https://t.co/h135TewWMp

But it wasn’t all bad!
A big night for Otter, as he got the shutout and officially checked off his 31st NHL team.
Oh wait, that’s literally all of them. pic.twitter.com/XN5nuJ4mxl

Meanwhile, in the MurderDeathKill Division
Just a couple games for the Central Division last night, with a much bigger slate across the NHL tonight. The Blues, Preds, Avs, Wild, and Blackhawks are all on tap this evening.
The Jets lost a tight one in Quebec to the Canadiens, dropping the shootout 3-2. (ESPN)
Meanwhile, the Mammoth had a decidedly NOT tight game against the surprisingly good Ducks in Anaheim last night – dropping them 7-0. (NHL.com)
Finally
Spotify Wrapped came out yesterday, and I’m mostly pleased and only slightly embarrassed. That about sums it up.
