The Seattle Kraken face a pivotal game against the Detroit Red Wings amid a four-game losing streak. The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Kraken are back on home ice Saturday, Dec. 6, taking on the Detroit Red Wings at Climate Pledge Arena. 

The puck drops at 7 p.m. in Seattle and will be broadcast on KONG. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m.


What to know about the Kraken vs. the Red Wings

Seattle holds a record of 11-8-6 and are coming off of a 9-4 loss on Thursday. The Red Wings are 14-11-3. 

Seattle faced Detroit earlier in the season on Nov. 18, losing 4-2. 

Detroit sits at fourth in the Atlantic Division while Seattle is sixth in the Pacific Division. 

For the Saturday matchup, the Kraken need to focus on ending its four-game losing streak. Kraken forward Jared McCann called the team’s recent standings a “slippery slope.”

“We’ve got to stop it against Detroit,” he told NHL.com after the team’s loss against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.
