The Toronto Maple Leafs want revenge against the Montreal Canadiens, so it should come as no surprise that guys like Matthew Knies are feeling vengeful.

A couple of Saturdays ago, the Toronto Maple Leafs got blown out by the Montreal Canadiens, and it was the final nail in the coffin of what had been a rough start to the season.

Since that time, the Leafs have been on the up and up, while the Canadiens continue to have some up and down moments.

On Saturday, the Leafs are playing the Canadiens again, this time at home, and there are going to be a ton of motivations going into this game.

Namely, the Leafs are trying to win four games in a row, and they are hoping to get even closer to a playoff spot.

Matthew Knies with a message for the Montreal Canadiens

Following a win against the Carolina Hurricanes, Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies was sounding extremely confident in himself.

In fact, he had a menacing message for the Canadiens, and it feels as though he is ready to give his opponent a hard time.

We needed that energy and we’re just going to try and bring that home. You know, I think we’ve had a tendency to be flat at home, but I think, you know, we’re going to come Saturday and, you know, get some payback to these guys in Montreal.

If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, you will certainly be very excited about this upcoming game. A Habs vs Leafs matchup is always a ton of fun.

If they win, the this four-game winning streak will immediately become one of the highlights of the Leafs’ season so far.
