The Vancouver Canucks aim to snap a four-game slide when they welcome the Minnesota Wild to Rogers Arena tonight.
Vancouver is struggling to produce offense right now, but I’m expecting Conor Garland to step up and lead the way in my Wild vs. Canucks predictions and NHL picks.

Wild vs Canucks Best bet: Conor Garland Over 2.5 shots (-115)
The Vancouver Canucks suffered their fourth straight defeat on Friday to the Mammoth as they’ve produced just five goals during the skid.
With the Canucks hurting for offense, someone’s got to step up. Conor Garland looks like one of the best candidates to lead the way in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Wild.
Garland logged three shots in nearly 23 minutes of ice time against the Mammoth last night to continue his habit of getting pucks on net. The Canucks forward has recorded Over 2.5 shots in four of his last five contests, while averaging 2.6 shots per game this season.

Garland has been playing on a line with Brock Boeser — another capable shooter — as well as Max Sasson, who has barely shot the puck at all, with just 21 shots in 25 games.
Someone on that Canucks second line has got to shoot the puck, and it’ll be Garland.
Wild vs Canucks same-game parlay
Matt Boldy has also made a habit of shooting the puck for the Wild, averaging 3.25 shots per game while recording Over 2.5 shots in eight of his last 12 outings.
The Canucks (2.82 gpg; 24th) and Wild (2.71 gpg; 26th) are two of the lowest-scoring teams in the league, so I’m taking Under 5.5 goals. The Under is also 7-2 in the last nine meetings.
