For the second time in three days, the Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings will do battle out west. Here’s how to watch the action:

Its very rare to see two teams play against each other in back-to-back games, let alone back-to-back games in the same city.

On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings played their first of two games, with an off day in between, resulting in a 2-1 Blackhawks victory. After Connor Bedard recorded his 18th goal in just his 27th game and Frank Nazar collected a pair of assists, the Blackhawks will look for a repeat performance against one of the Western Conference’s best teams.

Chicago Blackhawks at Los Angeles Kings Preview

Thursday was a battle for both sides. Although only three total goals were scored, impact players were involved in the scoring. In addition, Spencer Knight is spectacular and was again on Thursday night. The young goalie stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced from Los Angeles.

This win feels like more than just a 2-1 victory on the West Coast. Instead, this feels like a statement game of sorts from the Hawks. Jeff Blashill said it himself, “To me, it’s more than just a good start. We’re a good team.”

The Blackhawks are off to a hot start; that said, this team clearly believes in its abilities. Bedard and Nazar look like franchise players, the young defensive group is coming into its own, and the Hawks are still hanging around the playoff picture well after American Thanksgiving. The expression of old means the Hawks have a legitimate chance of making the postseason.
