Upside’s Chief Rankings Officer Eldon MacDonald has produced Top 10 Prospects lists for all 32 NHL teams as well as organizational rankings.

The criteria: Simple. The definition of a prospect is anybody that we thought was not on the team permanently at the time we produced the list (November 17, 2025).

The Vegas Golden Knights prospect pool ranks 25th of 32 NHL teams. Stay tuned as we roll out all 32 teams Top 10 prospect rankings with a few honorable mentions. We’re keeping these posts brief and to the point.

Vegas’ system is thin but has a few intriguing skill prospects.

Trevor Connelly (LW) – 2024 1st round | Henderson (AHL)
High-skill, high-risk winger. AHL rookie.
Upside: Top-6 skill winger

Jakob His Wozniak (RW) – 2025 2nd round | Luleå HF (SHL)
Big, skilled Swedish winger. SHL production solid.
Upside: Middle-6 forward

Carl Lindbom (G) – 2021 7th round | Henderson (AHL)
Athletic Swedish goalie. AHL backup.
Upside: NHL backup

Thomas Uronen (C) – 2023 7th round | Henderson (AHL)
Skilled forward. AHL production decent.
Upside: Depth forward

Braeden Bowman (RW) – FA | Henderson (AHL)
Two-way winger. AHL role player.
Upside: Depth forward. (Update Dec 6/25: Bowman is looking like a top 6 NHL forward since we compiled and finalized this list mid-November. Thus, we would have had him higher or close to considered graduated.)

Mathieu Cataford (RW) – 2023 3rd round | Henderson (AHL)
Competitive, two-way winger. AHL rookie.
Upside: Bottom-6 energy

Viliam Kmec (D) – FA | Henderson (AHL)
Big, offensive defenseman. AHL role player.
Upside: Depth D

Ivan Morozov (C) – 2018 2nd round | Spartak Moskva (KHL)
Two-way center. KHL regular.
Upside: Depth forward

Lucas Cormier (D) – 2020 3rd round | Henderson (AHL)
Puck-moving defenseman. AHL regular.

10 pts: 1st line, 1st pairing, starting goalie
