Colorado won its second overtime game this season on Saturday when Nathan MacKinnon scored to defeat the Rangers 3-2. That game ended after 1 pm MT — 22 hours before today’s matinee puck drop in Philadelphia.
Blackwood has started three of the last four games and played in each of them after replacing Scott Wedgewood three games ago. If Blackwood plays today, he’ll have started games on consecutive days for the first time since Feb. 6-7, in Calgary and Edmonton. He won both of those.
