Brad Marchand has never been shy about showing off his personality, and against Columbus on Saturday, he did so again in a high-scoring affair.

Over his illustrious career between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers, Brad Marchand has become one of the most beloved and most hated characters in the entire National Hockey League.

Unsurprisingly, at 36-years of age, he knows very well how to get under his opponents skin, but how to have fun doing so as well, and on Saturday, that was on full display.

Brad Marchand tries new tactic to get information on his opponents

On Saturday, the Florida Panthers battled the Columbus Blue Jackets in one of the most exciting games in recent seasons, with the game coming to an end 7-6 in overtime as the Florida Panthers came out on top.

The game wasn’t without controversy, with many in Columbus very upset with the process and the result, but it was a back-and-forth contest, one that Marchand starred in, but it was an interaction early in the game that had many fans shocked and laughing.

With Columbus on a power play, Marchand snuck over to their huddle on the bench and tried to get a look at the play they were running, with the Blue Jackets quick to usher him away.

Antics or not, Marchand has once again been back to his best this season, posting a ridiculous 16 goals and 31 points in 26 games played, and while he may not always get away with his antics, it’s clear that he’s having fun, and that won’t stop anytime soon down in Florida.
