The Bruins are 16-13-0 and looking to string together their first winning streak in nearly a month. On Thursday, they took care of business at home and defeated the St. Louis Blues, 5-2. Alex Steeves, Morgan Geekie and Viktor Arvidsson scored the first 3 goals of the game for Boston, and then Pavel Zacha scored a pair to make it 5-1 at the end of the second period. Elias Lindholm had three assists and Geekie had two, as did Mason Lohrei, while Steeves and Arvidsson each had one.
The Devils are 16-11-1 and on a four-game losing streak. The squad has been blanked in its last two games, losing each 3-0, after dropping a pair of contests 5-3 to start the losing streak. New Jersey will look for Jesper Bratt and Nico Hischier to help get the team out of this scoring slump and losing stretch.
