Derek Faasse scored twice in Passaic Tech’s 5-3 victory over Montville at the Ice Vault in Wayne.
The Bulldogs (1-1) led 4-2 after two periods.
Liam Drazek, Vincent Pizza, and Evan Schamble also scored in the win while Zach Soder recorded two assists. Nick Stillianessis made eight saves for Passaic Tech.
Ari Robbins and Jeremy Sussman scored for Montville (0-1). Dylan Hunter made 38 saves.
