Winnipeg Jets News Roundup – Dec. 8, 2025

The Winnipeg Jets practiced today at Canada Life Centre as they prepare to open a four-game homestand Tuesday night against the Dallas Stars. Here’s everything you need to know from Jets land today.Jets recall DiVincentiis, loan Milic to Moose

After spending over two weeks with the Jets due to Connor Hellebuyck undergoing a knee procedure, Thomas Milic will return to the Manitoba Moose, while his goaltending partner Domenic DiVincentiis will switch places with him and get a chance at some NHL reps.

TRANSACTIONS: The #NHLJets have recalled G – Domenic DiVincentiis from the Manitoba Moose (AHL). The Jets have also loaned G – Thomas Milic to the Moose.

Milic, 22, made his NHL debut against the Carolina Hurricanes on Nov. 28, making 30 saves in a 5-1 loss. He got two more appearances after that, both in relief of Eric Comrie. The first was in Buffalo on Dec. 1 after Comrie allowed three goals in the first period, and the second came in Edmonton this past Saturday after Comrie gave up four in the opening frame. Not the ideal way to gain NHL experience, but it all adds to the young goaltender’s resume.Jets shake up lines

Scott Arniel gave his lines a shake at Monday’s skate, finally splitting up the top line, with Gabriel Vilardi moving down to the third line.

Hellebuyck skates for the first time

According to Arniel, Connor Hellebuyck skated for the first time since undergoing a minor arthroscopic knee procedure on Nov. 22. He’s still a ways away from returning to full team practices, but it’s a positive sign to see him back on the ice.

#NHLJets head coach Scott Arniel said Connor Hellebuyck skated for the first time since his surgery today.

No real timeline until the goaltender gets into full practices, but obviously an encouraging sign.
