Back during the final stages of the 2023-24 season, the San Jose Sharks signed forward Collin Graf to a three-year, entry-level contract. This was after the Lincoln, Massachusetts native posted 22 goals, 27 assists, and 49 points in 34 games with Quinnipiac University during the 2023-24 season.

Graf also had a fantastic year for Quinnipiac during the 2022-23 season, as he scored 21 goals and set his collegiate career highs with 38 assists and 59 points in 41 games. With this, there is no question that the young forward has offensive potential.

Graf played in 33 games this past season with the Sharks, where he recorded five goals and 11 points. He also showed off his potential in the AHL with the San Jose Barracuda, recording eight goals, 27 assists, and 35 points in 40 games. Overall, he had a solid first full professional season split between the NHL and AHL in 2024-25.

However, Graf is now showing signs of breaking out for the Sharks this season. In 29 games, the 23-year-old forward has posted five goals, seven assists, and 12 points. Yet, what’s more encouraging is that he is only getting better as the season carries on.

Graf has been making an impact as of late, as he has scored a goal in each of his last two games for the Sharks. He has also been producing offense more consistently, as he has recorded three goals and eight points in his last 15 games for the Pacific Division club.

With numbers like these, Graf is starting to find his rhythm more at the NHL level with the Sharks. It will be interesting to see how he builds on it from here.Â
