On Tuesday, the Vegas Golden Knights (13-6-8) play the third game of a five-game road trip. They’ve won four straight and look to keep it going as they make their way through the Eastern Conference. They’ll face the New York Islanders (16-11-3) at UBS Arena.

The Golden Knights last played on Sunday against the New York Rangers. After jumping out to an early lead, they allowed two in the second period, then scored late to force overtime. Jack Eichel broke hearts at the Garden, scoring on a breakaway with eight seconds remaining to give his team a 3-2 victory.

The Islanders last played on Sunday against the Florida Panthers. They were never really in the game and lost 4-1.

The Golden Knights have not announced a starting goaltender. Carter Hart has a record of 4-6-3 and an average save percentage of .890 in 13 career games against the Islanders. Akira Schmid has a record of 2-2-1 and an average save percentage of .870 in five career games against the Islanders.
