One thing the Flyers have managed to avoid for much of the season is a string of losses. You have to go back to Nov. 1 and 2 to find the last time the Flyers lost back-to-back games in regulation, and Nov. 8 and 12 to find the last back-to-back losses in any fashion.

So far on the six-game homestand, the Flyers are 1-2-0, taking a pair of regulation losses. Tuesday night is the fourth game of six on home ice during this stretch, and the Flyers will look to avoid a second straight loss.

Meanwhile, the San Jose Sharks are in a similar position: an upstart team that hasn’t been able to string together consistent results. In the last 14 games, the Sharks are 7-7-0. The two teams face off on Tuesday night.

Travis Konecny enters Tuesday’s game on a four-game points streak. He has goals in back-to-back games and six points in that time, bringing him to 23 on the season.

Macklin Celebrini is off to an outstanding start in his sophomore season. Celebrini has 15 goals and 28 assists for 43 points. The 28 assists is tied for the league lead, and 43 points in second in the NHL.

Dan Vladar gets the start for the Flyers. Vladar allowed five goals on 27 shots in a loss to the Penguins on Monday night, snapping a personal four-game winning streak.

Alex Nedeljkovic gets the start for San Jose. Nedeljkovic made 28 saves on 29 shots against Carolina on Sunday for the win, his first since Nov. 7.
